Bernd is an entrepreneur and business strategist with over 30 years of experience in IT, Strategy, Consulting, Sales and Digitization. He brings comprehensive knowledge and a resilient network, especially in the finance industry, and stands for the magic square of Strategy, Technology, Processes and an innovative way of thinking.

During the last years, Bernd was in various top level management positions at banks and IT service providers in the financial industry, responsible for strategic and IT business development. Above all, he developed added value for higher-quality services and acted as a business enabler for innovative ideas. He believes that Technology and IT will be the platform and the business enabler of all future ecosystems.

Today, as Head of Competence Center Banking|Insurance at T-Systems International GmbH, he is responsible for the company’s strategy in the financial industry and is constantly working to bring the financial sector forward technologically.

As a Board Member of the German Chapter of EU Tech Chamber (EUTEC), Bernd is committed to promote the Chamber by supporting European corporations to access new business opportunities and help building a community of trailblazers who utilize technology for the greater good.
