Empowerment
Build the future: from Ideation to Generation Explanatory text:
At the “EU Tech Chamber Ethics & SDGs Commission”, our goal is to effectively support European businesses on their journey to impact by accompanying them through digital transformation and sustainable business model innovation. We empower business leaders to navigate their decisions based on ethical principles to fosterinclusiveness and equity along global value chains. Always focusing on our overarching goal to facilitate the proactive contribution to the achievement of the SDGs, together with our broad network of experts, we transfer the knowledge necessary for companies to optimize and transform their business models, scale sustainably and engage in inclusive innovation.
We believe that companies should always feel part of something bigger, engage in bold and adaptive strategies that will help them nurture their competitive advantage over time without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Throughout our collaboration with them, we enable and guide companies to reach and exceed their potential in this respect and by connecting them with the right partners. We know that strengthening their potential for sustainable and responsible innovation is our world’s gain.
SDG Awards
You think success – we think impact.
“With great technology, comes great responsibility. Technology obliges.”
At the “EU Tech Chamber SDGs & Ethics Commission”, we believe that innovation is key to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in their 2030 Agenda. To honor this belief, the “EU Tech Chamber Ethics & SDGs Commission” rewards outstanding efforts by EU companies to create social and environmental impact on a global scale, in their yearly organized “EU Tech Chamber SDG Awards”.
The palette of efforts eligible for recognition starts already at the stage of successfully
led strategic pilot projects involving emerging economies and providing a leading
example for the achievement of the right balance between creative value
creation, stakeholder inclusiveness and transparency.

Connecting Values
Boost inclusive innovation across borders and silos.
At “EU Tech Chamber Ethics & SDGs Commission”, we believe that innovation starts with an aspiration, happens where there is inclusiveness and has the lifespan of its anticipated relevance. This is why sustainable success requires for businesses to build bridges to the multiple values distributed worldwide and connect with them seamlessly and effectively. At the “EU Tech Chamber Ethics & SDGs Commission”, we help businesses expand and enter markets globally, with a particular focus on the emerging markets. Leveraging a broad network of local businesses and experts worldwide, our Commission supports businesses in their conscious choice to scale and break the silos of geographies, evolve and break the silos of expertise, optimize their potential and find the right partners to
collaborate with.
The “EU Tech Chamber” boosts the visibility of companies by providing them with the “EU Tech Centers” distributed globally and offering a platform to meet and connect with local businesses and expertise. In addition, further services needed for a successful market landing will be available on-site. But things don’t stop there. We are launching on April 2021 the “Virtual EU Tech Center”, where all type of organizations will be able to exhibit themselves by way of a dedicated online booth, accessible by people and companies worldwide.

NEWS FROM ETHICS & SDGs COMMISSION
Steve Jobs once said: “The ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” We currently are not only living an era of change, but a change of era.
While sustainability is in the limelight like never before, digital and technological innovations are creating a range of new opportunities in the context of achieving the SDGs.
Within the current ecological, economic and cultural crisis lies a golden opportunity for European businesses to make both: impact and profit.
In order to achieve sustainable success and enhance their competitiveness globally, European businesses will further have to engage in adaptive business models, identify the right partners for their ventures, create inclusive alliances and broaden their appeal to an international audience by building bridges to emerging markets. At the EU Tech Ethics & SDGs Commission, we see it as our goal to accompany businesses on their journey.
