15 December – EU Tech Chamber German Chapter – Topic: How can German Cities become Smart?

More and more people are living and working in urban areas. Urban planners are faced with major challenges arising from globalization and growing population figures.

In order to ensure that living and working is sustainable and efficient in the future, cities must be equipped to meet the growing demand for innovative networked systems for communication, mobility, energy and environmental protection.

“Smart City” is a holistic concept for making cities more efficient and technologically advanced as well as more sustainable and socially inclusive.

In order to achieve a “Smart City”, various expert groups must come together and collaborate to develop a common concept. What are the main aspects of a “Smart City”? How can the concept be implemented in the construction/real estate industry? What are the aims to be achieved? What are the recommended solutions?

Join our upcoming German Chapter Digital Panel on “How can German Cities become Smart” on Tuesday December 15, starting at 9.00 am.

We have invited Christoph Koch, manager of Prinz Immobilien Consulting GmbH and  Axel Holle, managing director of LD7 and Board Member of  EUTEC German Chapter to share their insights.

Further introductions by EUTEC Chairman Florian von Tucher and moderation by Martina Hagebölling, Secretary General of EUTEC German Chapter.
