EUTEC Chamber takes great pleasure to introduce you all our Chair of Advanced Manufacturing Council—Lin Kayser.
Lin Kayser is a German technology entrepreneur and investor. His entrepreneurial journey stretches almost 30 years. He started his first company at the beginning of the 1990s. In 1993 he joined the startup ARADEX to disrupt the world of industrial control systems with PC technology.
In 2000 he created his next company, IRIDAS. For a decade, IRIDAS helped transform the film industry from analog to digital. The company powered the first digital cinema in the world for The Matrix movies and pioneered many of the image processing technologies used in the film industry today. IRIDAS was acquired by Adobe in 2011, where, for three years, Kayser held the position of Director of Engineering. In 2014, he left Adobe to focus on his own ventures.
He is now the co-founder and CEO of Hyperganic Technologies AG, a software company pioneering A.I.-driven engineering for the future of manufacturing. Hyperganic’s platform enables the design of complex objects and machinery using Artificial Intelligence, and mass production on industrial 3D printers. Hyperganic’s technology is seen by many as a crucial element to significantly accelerate technological innovation to help solve the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals, such as Climate Change.
Kayser holds several board positions, among them at Isar Aerospace which produces spacecraft for satellite launches. He is the Chairman of the Board at VoltStorage, a company which provides renewable energy storage through novel and sustainable battery technology. Through his foundation, the Kayser Forum for Sustainability, Kayser raises awareness for environmental issues. Lin Kayser is also a frequent speaker at conferences on the topics of startups, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
As the Chair of Advanced Manufacturing Council in the EUTEC Chamber, Lin Kayser will be contributing his know-how in creating lasting networks and partnerships with stakeholders who share the same vision with EUTEC by utilizing technology for the greater good.
