After that, he spent five tremendously intensive years at a global technology group, ThyssenKrupp. In 2010, Henning joined Commerzbank’s government relations team to help to rebuild the tarnished image of its institutions. From 2013 to early 2018 Henning headed the Brussels Office of Bertelsmann Stiftung, investing his valuable know-how in creating lasting networks and strategic partnerships with stakeholders in a leading European Think Tank.

Henning is now, the Founder and Executive Partner of Otone Public Affairs. The role of Otone Public Affairs fits nicely with the Mission of EUTEC Policy Commission. With its very valuable experiences in different sectors of the economy, strong analytical capacities and a strong focus on design of consistent corporate positions and policy messages, Otone helps orienting the dialog with governmental institutions towards the better solutions, more adapted regulatory frameworks for new leading European Technologies, especially their combinations, and by this achieving economies of scale in the European single market as well as speeding up the expansion of their industries globally.
