6 July – EU Tech Chamber Finance Commission – Topic: EdTech – a Booming Demand from Investors

Similar to what we saw with Biotech, Pharma, and Software, the EdTech industry received massive amounts of capital in 2020. If we compare what VCs (globally) invested in EdTech in 2019 with 2020, there was an increase of 130% YoY. Out of the USD16.1B invested in 2020, 77% of it went into Asian EdTech companies (63% China 14% India), 15% to the US, and only 5% to European companies.
With remote learning taking over (at least temporarily), new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence or Augmented Reality being developed and implemented, and the controversy between the “more traditional” learning methods and the push for EdTech, what is ahead of us?

Do not miss our Digital Talk on Jul. 6 at 9:00 am (CEST) “EdTech – a Booming Demand from Global Investors” where our panelists will give us an overview of the industry, where it is heading, and why are investors excited about it. Join us in what will surely be a fantastic event.
